My name is Jeanne Yargicoglu

I received my bachelors degree in fine art from the University of Dallas. After spending many years working in the world of commercial art as a graphic designer and art director, I have finally returned to my fine art roots.

My work explores abstraction through layered textures, gestural marks, and subtle botanical forms. I’m interested in the tension between control and spontaneity, creating compositions that feel both constructed and intuitive.

While inspired by elements of the natural world, the paintings are more about internal landscapes - emotional rhythms, memory and transformation. I work in mixed media, allowing shapes to emerge organically and evolve through the process. Traces of florals
or organic lines hint at familiarity, but resist definition.
